Haverford vs MCC / Sunday's Match Recap

Sunday’s match against MCC featured an English County Cricket player who put up a century against Haverford’s bowling. Chasing a score of 280 in the 40 over match (well below the MCC’s average against other opponents of 325) the Ford’s succumbed to the MCC’s procession of spin bowlers, who sent the bails flying far too often.

A loss, but a good learning experience for the team and no doubt the opportunity to play away games back in the US would be helpful in batting on wicket’s that are more challenging than Cope Field’s artificial surface.
